WHY DJ MO AND SIZE 8 DID A GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR THEIR NEW HOUSE
Celebrity couple DJ Mo and Size 8 are now ready to build their new home in one of the affluent neighbourhoods in Nairobi after conducting a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of a new construction project.
Speaking in a recent interview, DJ Mo pointed out that they decided to do the ground breaking to cleanse the new land whose history is unknown and devote all the work to God to guarantee a successful undertaking. “It’s very important to do groundbreaking and dedicate it to God because you may not know what has been happening to the land or if someone was killed here,” he said.
He stated that they purposely publicised the ceremony to show the fans that everything is possible. Recounting his early years, he narrated that his family never owned a house, but determination, focus, consistency, and God has kept him going as he now looks forward to building a palace for his family after gifting lavish houses to his mother and grandmother.
On her part, Size 8 said, “My life has been an open book since I started my journey in the music industry in 2009, and people have been following my journey. It’s good to encourage people. Many parents, especially my late mum, never believed that musicians can have something concrete under their name. Mine is an encouragement to all. If God did to the Murayas, He will also do it for you.“
The power couple reportedly bought the land for Sh8 million. However, the initial price was Sh4.5 million, but the couple delayed purchasing after failing to arrive at a common consent on where they should build their home. DJ Mo had complained that the land was sitting in a bushy area.
