YOUNG, FAMOUS AND AFRICAN STAR NADIA NAKAI OPENS UP ABOUT HER FRIENDSHIP WITH DIAMOND PLATNUMZ

South African musician Nadia Nakai has opened up about her friendship with WCB Wasafi CEO Diamond Platnumz, alias Simba. Speaking in an interview with Wasafi FM, the celebrated All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) winner stated that they are great friends and described him as a talented singer and a pioneer with a consistency that has changed the African music industry.

“I have the biggest respect for Diamond, he is really one of the pioneers of putting Africa on the map in the music industry, and he is just a major talented person. He is a very humble person. I think he is one of the sweetest people I have met in the industry. Honestly, he is very genuine! He is a great person.” She said.

The critically acclaimed singer is behind massive hits such as Ragga Ragga and More Drugs which featured many times on global charts. She has projects with mega South African artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Tshego, Gemini Major and Riky Rick.

She is currently featuring on the Netflix reality show Young, Famous and African alongside Diamond, Khanyi Mbau, Zari Hassan, Jeremiah Ogbodo and Andile Ncube among others.
