ACTOR PAUL OGOLA TALKS ABOUT HIS GIRLFRIEND ADELYNE AND FRIENDSHIP WITH BONIFACE MWANGI

Crime and Justice actor Paul Ogola has talked about his relationship with his girlfriend Adelyne Nimo, an actress, and shared thoughts on officialising their union.

Speaking to Cheptoek Boyo on Buzz Central, the celebrated thespian narrated how he first encountered her at Saint Phillips Church in Ofafa Jericho, Nairobi, in what seemed like love at first sight. “When she joined our acting group at Saint Philips Church, and we were performing, we built a bond, and the relationship started. We saw fire in each other and I knew there was something and we speak all the language professionally, physically, spiritually, or emotionally.”

When asked if they have solemnised their relationship, he said, “Traditionally, yeah. We are almost there. According to Kikuyu traditions, there are some stages, and I have taken some stages and I am very keen on observing them.”

Paul also opened up about his friendship with photojournalist and activist Boniface Mwangi, he revealed that he is a great friend, and he has aided him morally, physically, and financially to realise professional success.

“Bonny helped me when I was going to the Berlinale acting workshop in Germany in 2016. When you qualify for Berlinale, they take care of your flight, accommodation, and upkeep money but repay you half of the money spent. I was to spend Sh150,000, but I couldn’t get Sh75,000. I went to Pawa254 and explained to him everything about my first-ever masterclass where professionals are teaching me about my craft, and he gave me Sh50,000.” He said.

“On the moral side, he told me to repay the money, but it was not really about the money. You have to keep on fighting and come back to render the services to the people after getting the education. Where you get the help it has to be replenished because you are not the only one with problems.” He added.

Ogola also recalled an incident where Boniface helped his friend who had been swindled Sh8 million to get him money back and at one time when they were arrested for shooting without a license, they were bailed out, thanks to his activism.
