ANITA NDERU AND HUSBAND BARRETT RAFTERY EXPECTING FIRST CHILD (VIDEO)

Media personality Anita Nderu and her husband Barrett Raftery are expecting their firstborn baby. Anita made the announcement on social media by sharing a video of her pregnancy photoshoot.

The couple tied the knot in September 2021, Anita penned a sweet message to her friends and family taking their time and organising her wedding ceremony, making it a huge success. “Everything about the amazing human beings in this picture brings me so much joy and the most beautiful and hilarious memories. As Noah put it, if Wes Anderson was to find a cast for a mind blowing movie, we were it. Gosh! I love you all! So so so much! @donvinny my parents still refer to you as the guy in the kitenge with a rope around his waist (sic),” she wrote. 

Adding, “@paubita @razzizy Emma & Andrew Namisi my Ugandan family entertainment was the category and you guys. I am laughing to tears just remembering half the shenanigans you blessed our wedding with. @vladidaskhaykin thank you for being our officiant and keeping us organized and even when African timing made no sense, for being so patient. Our formal service was so fun & well executed & we love you & are so grateful.” 

Earlier in the same month, Nderu  shared a video from her traditional wedding, gushing over her husband, “Our ruracio. This day feels so surreal! I love you so much B. The last couple of weeks feel surreal too. It was such a busy beautiful day spent with so many of our loved ones that we had not seen in such a long time. We are so honored and grateful to each and every one of you who traveled from near and far to celebrate love with us.

We are so grateful to the entire bridal & grooms party for everything you did for us, the time you made for us, we love you all so much, we had so much fun with you, what a cast of family and friends you guys understood the assignment and were a vibe and a half. Thank you for your awesomeness,” she posted.
