DJ MOZ MOTHER LAID TO REST IN NYERI

DJ Moz has said his last goodbye to his mother Akisa Wangari Mathenge, who died a week ago.  

The popular deejay took to his social media platforms to thank his fans for their support during his mother’s send off. “We want to say a big thank you for every prayer, kind word and support that has come to our family as we said goodbye to my mum, Mrs. Akisa Mathenge. We wish you every good and perfect gift from above. We laid her body to rest yesterday and we will miss her dearly. She’s left a very high bar for us.”

Last week, DJ Moz shared his mother’s funeral program and captioned, “Thank you so much for standing with us in this season. Mum’s burial has been set for Thursday, 21st July, in Nyeri. There will be a brief prayer meeting and Celebration of Life at All Saints Cathedral, St. James Hall, today Wednesday 20th July, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.”

On July 18, he announced his mother’s passing by sharing a family picture and writing, “I will forever miss my mum. Your memory lives on forever. One of a kind #MumRIP”
