KARWIRWA LAURA ANNOUNCES EXIT FROM CITIZEN TV AFTER 3 YEARS

By  |

Citizen TV presenter Karwirwa Laura has announced her exit from the media house after a three year stint.

The Gospel Sunday host shared the message on her Instagram while narrating her experience working at Citizen TV, “3 years! This one’s tough to caption but really working on Gospel Sunday, Citizen TV has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

I have been exposed to a wonderful worldview, interacted with beautiful souls and great minds and been challenged in the deepest parts of my being to be a better person every day. I will dearly miss my colleagues-the banter, chemistry, good vibes everything. I will miss struggling with that Sunday morning alarm. I didn’t realise how much I’d grown to love the screen. I will miss a lot especially because, I wasn’t ready.”

On her next course in life, she is going back to school, “But the winds of change have blown and Oxford Brookes University has opened its doors to this wide-eyed little big dreamer. I want to do more for myself; to grow. Hence, I pray, that this Masters in Public Health will be a launching pad to more.”

Conclusively she said she was putting her career in music and media on hold indefinitely, “All my life, I have experienced God’s grace carrying me. I have felt the warmth of His love. And even here, in this strange change where I have left all to go for more, I trust that He will hold me. And so, I drop the mic, both in media and music for as long as I’ll need to. With a heart full of thanks, to Almighty and my very supportive loved ones. Oxford, here I come.”
