GLORIA MULIRO AND HUBBY CELEBRATE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Gospel singer Gloria Muliro is celebrating her marriage anniversary with her husband Evans Sabwami. Gloria took to social media and describe her hubby as her best friend, “Happiest Anniversary my best friend, my moshene partner, my husband. Your love is a gift I open everyday. Here’s to you, here’s to us, here’s to many more happy years together. Happy anniversary hun! I love you.”

The couple tied the knot in a colourful wedding in New York, October 2021, six years after she divorced her music producer Eric Omba. The singer shared a photo of herself and her husband captioning it, “Finally finally. My autumn wedding in New York.” 

Gloria married Pastor Eric Omba Miko in 2009, but walked out of the marriage, citing infidelity. In July 2020, her ex-husband Pastor Omba revealed Muliro got a restraining order against him and he cannot be in the same room with her. “When I decide to move on it was a fight, oh my God, I followed her for a year and a half. I travel from Nairobi to Ushago to her parents, talked to her sisters and friends trying to repair the relationship.

Bishop Gitonga stepped in to help us reconcile but she said her time is over. She wanted a divorce but I did not want it because I never believed in divorce. I cried like a baby and begged her to come back, I was asking for forgiveness for what I did not even do just because I wanted to win her back.

I received a cease and desist letter from her lawyer to stop harassing her and a restraining order to stay 10 meters away when I see her, I cannot be in the same building with her. She blocked all the channels for communication,” he said.
