LUPITA NYONG’O AND SISTER FIONA STUN IN BLACK AT WEARABLE ART GALA

Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o was accompanied by her sister, Fiona Nyong’o for the Wearable Art Gala.

Lupita shared a video of them in matching black outfits and captioned, “That’s my sister! And she’s cute too!” She also posted a series of photos that included some with Beyonce and Jay-Z, “It was an honour to present the film and TV icon award to @Im.AngelaBassett see some friends and walk down the carpet with my sister @thelady_Fi, all while supporting WACO’s artistic and youth mentorship programs.”

The gala took place in Los Angeles. This year’s theme was the fashions of the 1920s-50s, with the films Harlem Nights and The Cotton Club being a big inspiration for the night’s outfits. Co-founded by Tina Knowles-Lawson and her husband, actor Richard Lawson, this year’s gala brought out big name celebrities like Beyonce, Jay Z, Keke Palmer, Chloe Bailey, and Angela Bassett.
