DAVIDO’S SON IFEANYI DIES IN HOME DROWNING INCIDENT

Nigerian superstar, Davido and his fiancée Chioma have lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi. According to reports, Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in Banana Island, Lagos State. 

Hours after the news broke, Nigerian celebrities took to social media to share their condolences. “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.” Said Daddy Freeze.

“My heart can’t take this. This is so painfully unbearable. Chioma and Davido please accept my condolences. No amount of words can comfort your hearts. I am truly sorry for your loss.” Said Reality TV star and actress, Rosemary Afuwape, said on her Instagram story.

“Father heal your children’s heart from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time, oh Lord.” Added Lasisi Elenu also posted.

The horrific incident happened on Monday night, a few days after his third birthday held on October 20. “I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be greater than Me , Happy birthday, son @davidifeanyiadeleke !!! #BIG3” wrote David on social media.

“Happy birthday to the love of my life. Mummy loves you so much, may God always bless you for me. God has been so faithful to us and I’m so grateful to be called your mummy. May you be greater than your parents in Jesus’ name, amen. Love you twin! #big3,”said Chioma.
