KENYAN ACTOR PAUL OGOLA ATTENDS THE EMMYS

Kenyan actor Paul Ogola attended the Emmy Awards and gave fans a sneak peek into this year’s ceremony. Taking to Instagram, the Crime and Justice shared pictures from the event. “This International Emmy awards gala red carpet look is by Tony Ngige @thetonyngige. Tony, they wanted to know where you are based in New York City, that’s how deadly you are!”

In a statement to Buzz Central, Ogola added, “This village boy from Siaya county, Mbaga village and artistically bred in Ofafa Jericho Church, became an Emmys juror and soon to be an academy member. This boy belongs to the universe!

In October Paul reached out to well wishers for financial help to attend the Emmy Awards in New York. “I appeal to all the well wishers in the industry or out of the industry with love for the development of our industry, to help me find this trip to represent at the International Emmy awards in New York.

It is not a small feat to be selected, this right here is an opportunity that will be of great returns in the future of our film industry because my next dream is to make sure that the international Emmy Jury duty happens in Kenya! Get All these TV executives and great talents to our land and see what we have to offer, that is my dream for this nation.”

He also noted that artistes desiring major success need money, “To whom much is given much is required, this statement has been so clear to me this year, I have a huge lesson to every artist who wishes and dreams of making it big, my sister and brother, you will need money! Whatever projects you are doing right now, you must factor in your future value!”  In August, the actor was selected as one of the juror’s for this year’s Emmys, “I am just letting you know that I am a Juror in the 50th International Emmy Awards. Roger! #goddid.”
