RHOA STAR SHAMEA MORTON AND KENYAN HUSBAND GERALD MWANGI EXPECTING BABY NUMBER 2

Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Shamea Morton and her Kenyan husband Gerald Mwangi are expecting baby number two.

The couple announced that baby will arrive via surrogate, “We’re having a baby via surrogacy! It’s been such a long journey! 7 rounds of IVF, failed transfers. I wanted to carry but God had other plans. He always knows best! I’m so grateful. I’m having a baby!”

The couple welcomed their first child, Shya Nyambura Mwangi in November 2018. “I’m officially a mom! I have a whole new respect for women and our bodies. Childbirth is nothing short of a miracle. I feel so blessed to have had this experience.”

On July 22, 2017, the reality star wedded her US-based Kenyan businessman at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. In attendees were celebrities Tiny Harris, Kandi Burrus and her husband Todd Tucker among others. For the reception Shamea wore an ankara inspired dress and dance for her husband while the guests broke into applause.
