VICTOR WANYAMA AND SERAH NDANU CELEBRATE SON’S 1ST BIRTHDAY

Actress Serah Ndanu and footballer Victor Wanyama celebrated their son Arel’s first birthday. The actress took to her Insta Stories and posted a photo of Arel’s birthday cake and captioned, “Arel turned one this year.”

In September, the couple celebrated their son as he marked the nine-month milestone, “My little love turns 9 months today. 9 is just not a number for us, born on 9.9.21 at 9.29am. Not  a coincidence at all. 9 means completion/finality and  that is exactly what my little Prince is. I can’t stop thanking God for this precious gift. My Son. My twin. We love you baby.” 

Serah also said her son’s name means lion of God, “Arel – meaning the lion of God. We wanted to have a mini- intimate celebration with close friends and family. A garden setup with a vintage and contemporary modern themed soirée and that’s exactly what @blacktieeventskenya delivered to the T.  Thank you for making our little Lion and guests feel extremely special. Speaking in an interview with Buzz Central, Ndanu confirmed they have been dating for six years, “It’s been six years of fun and dating and being together and enjoying ourselves, you know we are very private individuals and that’s how we keep it. Anything that we want to share with the public in due time, about whether we are married or not, that is something that will get to know with time.” 

She revealed motherhood has given her perspective and she is now goal oriented, “I didn’t know that I’ll enjoy motherhood as much as I do right now because I just did not know what life is I didn’t have a purpose but when you are a mom it just gives a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose to life.

This little bundle of joy brought 20 times more love and meaning to my life. It has also strengthened our bond as a family and we are more goal oriented. The discussions change as parents, now we are starting to look at schools. When we are going out to the restaurants we have to check if it’s baby friendly, small things like those which are so exciting that you never thought that you would.”
