ACTRESS DOREA CHEGE OPENS UP ON HER ENGAGEMENT TO DJ DIBUL

Actress Dorea Chege has opened up about her engagement to boyfriend DJ Dibul.

The actress posted a complete video of their engagement party and disclosed she didn’t expect Dibul to propose to her, “I have been seen online dating other people but eventually there is always that one person out there for you. I didn’t see this coming. Babe all I have to say is I love you so much, thank you.”  

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Buzz Central, she revealed her relationship with DJ Dibul started on Instagram, “We went to a school visit and he was the DJ. I didn’t even know who he was or where he worked. We finished the mission and we went back home. Later, I found multiple ‘hey’ and ‘hi’ in my DM and he used to respond to my Insta-Stories with fire emojis and I noticed him. I checked out his DM’s and he had tried reaching out for six months and he wasn’t giving up and I loved his attitude of not giving up.” She replied to his DMs and they exchanged numbers and started hanging out. The content creator said DJ Dibul makes her feel safe. 

She also talked about ending her 5-year relationship with her ex-boyfriend, “I remember my mom telling me there is nowhere it has been written you have to date a person for 5 or 10 years for you to marry them. I dated my ex for five years and it didn’t work and yet at some point I felt like this man was going to marry me and it failed. I looked at myself like I’ve wasted five years.”

Dorea denied dating ex-cast mate Ronald Ndubi alias Victor Hausa. “After Maria was over, everyone went their separate ways and fortunately he called me and he told me we could do something together. We sat down and talked about business. We also involved other Maria cast members and we started a group and it went so well and we were getting good money.”

They started spending a lot of time together due to their joint ventures and it was mistaken for a relationship, “We became good friends and we were so close. We started doing more businesses together and making more money and I think in the process people started thinking we’re dating but we have never dated.”
