GIBSON GATHU’S WIFE AND CHILDREN PAY TRIBUTE TO HIM

The family of the late Vioja Mahakamani actor Gibson Gathu, paid heartfelt tributes to him ahead of his burial on Tuesday, January 3.

His wife, Margaret Njeri Gathu said, “My darling husband, my love and my best friend, parting with you is the most heartbreaking event of my life. However, I take comfort in knowing that you have rested in glory and we shall meet again. I thank God for the opportunity to share my life with you. You were the best husband, father and grandfather. Thank you for being a pillar in our lives. Your memories will remain fresh in our minds and we shall keep your legacy alive…I will continue to be present in our children’s and grandchildren’s lives just as we did together.”

His children, Trizza, Grace and Ian Gathu also eulogised their father, “My hero, my pillar, my daddy…words will never be enough to describe what you mean to me dad. God truly gave me the best gift of having you as my dad. I would be lying if I said I’m okay…but it will take time to learn to be without you. Rest now Papa…heaven has gained an angel,” said Trizza. 

In her tribute, Grace said, “My dad, my king, my friend and my cheerleader. Dad taught us that even the most profound losses are survivable…We will forever carry you in our hearts always and forever.”

“Rest in eternal peace, no more pain. I promise to take care of everyone and love everyone as you taught me,” added Ian. Gibson will be buried at his Matundura home in Nyandarua County.
