SINGER MAUREEN KUNGA REVEALS THE BEST ADVICE SHE RECEIVED FROM NAMELESS

Musician Maureen Kunga has talked about the best piece of advice that she received from Nameless during her 20s.

Speaking to Buzz Central, Kunga revealed she was not paid by a producer after doing background vocals for Nameless, “When I started singing before Elani, I sang some background vocals for one of Nameless albums. At the time, I was not even known, I was doing a jingle for Golden Fry and in that same studio Nameless was recording his album. The producer asked me if I could do the background vocals and I was like okay, I did the vocals but unfortunately I was never paid. 

Life continued and I met Nameless in a different setting, I reminded him about the song and told him it was my vocals and he didn’t pay me but I found out that day that he had paid but the producer didn’t pay me. He said, “Even the people who smile with you Maureen watch your back because you don’t know.” That was so early in our careers we were just happy and sharing everything. He also said “When you are in rooms, always sit and listen you will learn a lot.”
