MUSICIAN DNA OPENS UP ON STRUGGLING TO PAY HIS CHILDREN’S SCHOOL FEES
Musician DNA has opened up on the most challenging time in his life.
Speaking in a video seen by Buzz Central, the rapper said he took his children to an expensive school that he could not afford to pay and ended up struggling financially, “I have talked to many men and all of them are complaining about school fees and even me I was in that trap. With my first daughter I took her to a nursery school that I was paying almost Sh100,000 but I couldn’t afford it and that’s one of the reasons I fell back financially.”
He added, “When I look at it now, I was under pressure which I should not have agreed to. Guys should ask themselves if they are paying for their child’s education or their child’s mother’s social status. When I asked myself what I was paying for, it became an easier decision and by the time I decided, I was way messed up. I was messed up to the point where Mama Tugi would tell me we go to a cheap school but my mind was thinking about my status and the friends I had made in the school.”
DNA almost took a loan to pay his children’s school fees, “Before I moved my kids, the school had a deal with a bank where I could get a loan for school fees yet there were other schools I could afford to pay.”
