VERA SIDIKA EXPLAINS WHY CELEBRITIES ARE NOT IN REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NAIROBI

Socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika has revealed why most Kenyan celebrities are not in Real Housewives of Nairobi.

Taking to her Insta Stories, Sidika said a lot of celebrities did not make the cut. “Actually, many of your favourite celebs wanted to be in it and even tried but didn’t make it. Because it’s not about being a celebrity. There’s so much more that’s considered. Not fame. It’s the lifestyle, glam, exposure, opulence, personality etc. So if you have all that and you happen to be famous it just adds spice to it but then don’t look at social media numbers.

That’s why most Real Housewives worldwide were never known or famous before the show. You have to be about that life in real life. Your homes, cars, investments, the parties you throw etc. They dig into your life and make sure you represent the franchise and decisions are made in the U.S. Not here, so hakuna cha favouritism or kujuana.”

On how she deals with other cast member, she said, “Naturally, when you put six successful, powerful, strong women in the same space and follow them for a few months a lot is bound to happen because everyone personality is strong so you’ll experience all types of emotions, love, hate, betrayal and fights. Ni natural tu so yeah. On RHONairobi, everyone means what they say to each other. Nobody tells you what to say.”
