WILLY PAUL FORGIVES MISS P FOR ACCUSING HIM OF SEXUAL ASSAULT

By  |

Singer Willy Paul has responded to the apology issued by his former artist, Miss P who had accused him of sexual assault.

In a lengthy post, Willy Paul said he will not be taking any legal action against the singer, “Well I know you’ve all been waiting for my reaction after Miss P’s confession. I’ve seen your comments, most of you asking me to take legal action and some asking me to forgive and keep away from her. A good number of you guys reminded me of what that false story put me through and insisted that I take legal action without having second thoughts. But the question is, what good will having her locked up do to me? Absolutely nothing. I will gain nothing.”

Willy Paul went on to add he will always be there for her whenever she needs help, “Being a good man that I’ve always been, the good man that most people fail to see the good in. I have decided to forgive this beautiful soul. I know it cost me a lot but if God can forgive then who I’m I not to? If you truly understand the word of God then you’ll understand that there’s even more peace in forgiveness.

Remember this fam, God used me to unlock this girl’s doors and I did just that so why would I mess what God used me to make? Bottom line, I still have so much love for her and will always be here to listen to her whenever she needs my advice or any other thing that I can help with. Before you judge her or even disagree with me, just remember that mistakes happen, people make mistakes, no one is perfect and like I said earlier, I still have so much love for her and my doors will stay open for her.”

Willy Paul’s post comes a day after Miss P’s apology. “Me doing that interview was an impulsive reaction. I felt bitter, angry and so many other things. My emotions were all over the place. I was just overwhelmed at the time and I was also not okay mentally and psychologically. A lot was going on in my life, facing so much at the time and the interview was an impulse. I hate to say this because I literally live life with no regrets but I must say it’s one one of the things that I regret doing,”

In November 2021, Miss P accused the I Do hitmaker of taking advantage of her and continuously sexually assaulting her despite showing lack of interest. “He forced me to have sex with him. Not once, not twice. I had to tell my mum because I had to seek medical attention,” Miss P said in an interview.

A week later, a Nairobi court barred Miss P asking her to pull down a video she previously posted accusing him of sexual assault. “An order is granted compelling the first defendant/respondent herein either by themselves, their servants’ agents, assigns or any other person spreading the video or circulating the same be restrained by an order of the court from defaming, spreading and continuing to defame the plaintiff/applicant the inter parties hearing of this application,” read the document published by Willy Paul
