DAGORETTI SOUTH MP JOHN ‘KJ’ KIARIE’S DAD SUCCUMBS TO CANCER

Dagoretti South MP John ‘KJ’ Kiarie is mourning the death of his father David Waweru Ng’ethe.

KJ announced the death of his father in an emotional post, “The Lion has rested. Dark, dark hour. As the 3 o’clock late afternoon sun battled with a stubborn dark cloud, for superiority in the skies, a stubborn dark cancer struck a final mortal blow. Death is so final, it is unbelievable.

Unbelievable how thin that marker line is, between this life and eternity. At this heaven-ordained hour, The Lion breathed his last. Grief pierces to the core.”

His father was a former MP for Kandara Constituency in Murang’a. He joined politics in 1981 after the court nullified the victory of the late George Ndung’u Mwicigi. 

In the 1997 General Elections, under the Chama Cha Umma Party, Ng’ethe took a shot at the Presidency but emerged last.
