IAN MBUGUA CELEBRATES BIRTH OF 2ND GRANDDAUGHTER

Actor Ian Mbugua is a grandfather again!

Ian took to social media to celebrate the birth of his second granddaughter, Wambui Kagwe, “Thank you, Lord, for my second granddaughter. Meet Wambui Kagwe,” he wrote.

In an interview with The Standard in 2017, Ian said he spoils his first granddaughter Wandia, “I have a good relationship with my children and we spend a lot of fun times together. We have a good understanding. They are all young adults now. My granddaughter Wandia…well, I totally spoil her. I spend time with her playing, eating, even teaching her, just like I did with my children. She is more curious and demands more attention!”

His advice to parents is to spend quality time with their kids, “The most important ‘thing’ you can give your child is time. Quality time. Spend time with them – especially during the formative years. This excuse of, ‘I’m busy working to give you all the things you need”, doesn’t hold water. Many parents try to connect with their children later in life with no success. If you’re not there during the early years – forget any meaningful relationship later in life.”
