SUZANNA OWIYO ON HOW SHE SURVIVED IN BOARDING SCHOOL

Celebrated artiste Suzanna Owiyo took to her Twitter account to share her experience in boarding school.

The mother one surprised her fans when she revealed how she use to survive in school, “How some of us survived the boarding school lifestyle is a miracle! I remember, we used to fill and keep borehole water in small basins under our beds. The same water was for drinking, bathing, fixing cold power drink ya kuteremsha na mkate, not forgetting hapo chini ya kitanda ndio pia tulikuwa tunaanikia chupi zetu. Ni God haki!”

Her fans took to the comment section to react to her post.

Benji Ndolo: Wow, that’s unbelievable. Just the other day this week I asked my friend’s son who’s in Saints how was school.. greeeeeat he replied.. I said, and lunch.. he said deelicious..so I asked kwani what’d you guys have.. he goes fish and chips and hotdog. You know how fresh fish has to be.

Alex: In our school bathing was optional. If you showered 3 days in a row you could easily be suspended.

Dru’F’kariuki: I can remember the water stored under the bed got really chilly during the night and would give people a cold overnight…taugh life it was.

Felix Akello: You can relate this. The 5 litres of water that was meant for drinking, washing clothes and bathing!

Jakapeno: Us we had to thank the gold excavators for taking the wrong angle, the tunnels became a lake.
