AMBER RAY ON BREASTFEEDING STRUGGLES

Socialite Amber Ray has opened up about her breastfeeding struggles. 

In a recent Instagram post, the mother of two talked about how she is struggling to breastfeed her daughter, Africanah. “I enjoyed breastfeeding my son for 2 years and I was looking to do the same with my daughter but sema disappointments ama watoto wa matajiri hawakunywi maziwa ya mama?”

Amber disclosed she has done everything but she is not producing enough milk for the baby, “It is something that really bothers me. To the mothers that are breastfeeding, what do you do to get breast milk? I have eaten everything, the cookies, pills, bone soup, cocoa and njahi but nothing. I can only produce 50ml maximum. I had to introduce my baby to formula and now she is refusing breast milk.” 

She added, “The way I had prepared myself knowing I will have breast milk, I even bought a fridge for my bedroom to store the milk. With my firstborn I had so much milk I could donate.”
