MADTRAXX REVEALS IT WAS HARD WORKING WITH MEJJA

Rapper Madraxx has revealed the reason why The Kansol split.

Speaking in an interview on Iko Nini Podcast, Madraxx said he had a hard time working with Mejja. “I was ready to experiment with music but Mejja was not. He is the bread winner for his family so for him to make music is to make hits and there is not time to experiment, whereas I got to the industry to elevate the music. No woman no party was a friction song for Kansol because Kora and I believed in it but Mejja just didn’t see why we should shoot a video for it.”

Madraxx also stated he was done with the night life and wasn’t enjoying making music, “It first started from my spirit, it was overwhelming, the nights and lifestyle. At the same time I had become a parent and I wasn’t feeling it. In 2017 my sister passed away and at the end of the year we had three shows for New Year’s. I was looking up and admiring the fireworks and to me it was the end of something. From that point onwards I felt like I was pushing myself to get things done by the time it was 2020, it just came to a halt because of covid and I felt free.”
