ZIIKI MEDIA RESPOND TO BAHATI’S FRAUDSTERS CLAIMS AND DEMAND AN APOLOGY
Musician Bahati on Wednesday, June 21 took social media to accuse music distribution company Ziiki Media of hacking his YouTube channel and deleting his collaboration with Rwandese singer Bruce Melodie.
“Dear Bahati fans. Ziiki media has illegally hacked my Youtube channel and deleted my song Diana featuring Rwanda’s Bruce Melodie. Ziiki media are fraudsters. Dear Kenyan Government this is where we are getting our taxes. Help us deal with these fraudsters! Very sad!” he wrote on Instagram
On a different post he added, “Another youtube strike? Now this Ziiki Media people have gone ahead and removed #Diana feat @brucemelodie from @diana_marua youtube channel! Dear fellow musicians just like Harmonize told us this people are malicious. They are here to mistreat our musicians!”
Ziiki media responded to the singer denying the claims, “We vehemently deny the statement made by Bahati in the above post in its entirety and do not wish to dignify such brazen lies by explaining any further at this stage.”
The company which has been working with Bahati since October 2020 demanded an apology from him, “We demand an unconditional apology from Bahati and demand that he should take down this deeply offensive post immediately. The post is bluntly defamatory and failing an immediate and unconditional apology from Behati Ziiki Media shell sic received your redressal at the appropriate forum.”
