‘I SOLD EVERYTHING IN MY HOUSE’ BRIAN CHIRA ON BATTLING ALCOHOLISM

Popular TikToker Brian Chira opened up about his battle with alcoholism.

Speaking in an interview with Oga Obinna, Chira said he sold all his household items to buy alcohol, “I found out I was depressed when I sold everything in my house because of liquor. When my auntie passed on in September 2020, my house was full. But I spiralled because it became too much for me to handle and the bottle was my best option.” 

Chira further revealed he became toxic to his friends, “I became so toxic to my friends, there is no place I would go without getting into a fight. The day I slept on the floor because I sold my duvet to buy alcohol I realised I need to do better. In 2022 I started seeing counsellor and now I’m in a better place.”

Chira who recently disclosed he is HIV positive, said he is heterosexual but he does not want to be in a relationship now, “I am not dating, I want to be financially stable before I can date someone. I have a crush on Agib Gathoni.”
