MINNE KARIUKI ON PLAYING STEAMY ROLE IN SINGLE KIASI

Season 1 of Kenyan drama series Single Kiasi is now showing on Maisha Magic East on DStv 158 and GOtv 3 on Thursdays at 8 pm.

The show follows the lives of three women in Nairobi as they deal with the challenges that marriage, friendships, relationships, and their careers throw at them. In the most recent episode, Sintamei discovered that her husband of ten years has been seeing another woman behind her back, Rebecca is frustrated with her husband’s inability to provide for her and her family while Mariah is involved with a married man. The ladies soon discover that although love is a battlefield, they have each other’s backs and support.  

Minnie Kariuki, who plays Mariah in the hit series Single Kiasi narrated her inspiration to play the role that she currently has on the show. “My craft is that I am an actor and that is what I do for a living. You can only inspire people, your fans and even the younger upcoming artists by through your success. My role on the show Single Kiasi and who I am as person are very different. I have had to deal with some very painful and deep experiences in my past life to be able to play the roles that I have featured on.” She said.
