SINGER MAYONDE SHOWS OFF GROWING BABY BUMP

Musician Mayonde and her husband Mbithi Masya are expecting a child.

Mayonde made the announcement online while promoting her new song. She shared a video dancing to her new single Raha while flaunting her growing baby bump, “This new banger drops this Friday! Can wait for y’all to hear Raha.”

Mayonde and Mbithi tied the knot on August 31, 2013. While celebrating their eight anniversary, she wrote, “Happy Anniversary my love. The years are really flying! Also, this was the best day ever! Me love you long time @mbithi.”

Mbithi is a filmmaker and a member of @justaband. His first feature film, Kati Kati, has won several international awards, including the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) award in the Discovery Programme at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Mbithi has directed ads for some of Kenya’s most prominent brands, including Equity Bank, Safaricom, Barclays, Coca Cola, Centum, Oracle Kenya, Google Kenya, and the Simba Group.
