BABU OWINO PAYS SCHOOL FEES FOR ATOMMY SIFA’S DAUGHTER

Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, has extended his support to singer Atommy Sifa facing challenges.  Babugenerously stepped forward to cover the school fees for Atommy’s daughter Sara, who studies at Moi Girls High School. 

Sifa had taken to social media to reveal that he is struggling to take care of his family, “Thank you so much for paying school fees for my daughter Sara. Babu Owino may God bless you, you are one in a million. People have money but those who help are small. 

Babu is my fan and he surprised me, I didn’t know if anyone would help me pay for my daughter’s school fees in Moi Girls. I thank Babu for having a kind heart,” he said.

In early August 2023, the Ohangla  musician took to TikTok to seek financial assistance from well wishers. In a video, Atommy said his hardships began in 2021 when he lost his equipment. Despite his desire to sing, Sifa lacks the necessary tools and instruments to pursue his passion. He also expressed his frustration with politicians, claiming they have neglected him despite singing praise songs for them during campaigns.

“Tomorrow I will be live at 4pm, all are welcome to help me. I am an orphan and I have raised myself and since my governor cannot help me and I voted and sang for him please help me.”

Sifa reported the theft of his musical instruments back in 2021, from his village-owned club, Rock City Jungle Resort. The theft of the instruments left 15 other members of his band without any source of income, forcing them to stay home. “I want to bring back the team and perform at different events. Our only challenge is the lack of musical instruments,” Sifa added.
