BIG TED AWARDED DOCTORATE DEGREE

By  |

Kenya’s Consul General in Los Angeles, U.S. Thomas Kwaka alias Big Ted, has been awarded his doctorate degree.

Big Ted celebrated his big milestone on social media, “Today is a big day for me – surreal and so far-fetched .. @_sheila.m @nowthatsmajor @vdjspace has favour been conferred on you that you cannot tell anyone until you hold it and even then you feel as of you do not deserve it?

It’s a good case of what the experts call imposter syndrome, a pattern of questioning your own abilities or accomplishments and believing they aren’t good enough. You may feel like a fraud, worry other people will discover you’re not as good as you seem, or believe you’re inferior even when evidence says otherwise.

Big Ted gave all the glory to God, “For a public speaker, writer, ambassador, father, creative economy champion, music promoter, MC, marketing genius, destiny connector – Kijana tu wa mtaa you would think that I hold myself and my achievements highly, but I battle with self daily, reminding myself that I am good enough and I am worthy of Gods favour. I have been muling over much over the past year, and these are my lessons.

  1. Favour is unfair.
  2. God is not fair he is just.
  3. Others may never understand why you! how you! (don’t be others).
  4. People fight what they don’t know or understand (don’t be people).
  5. Favour rests in God’s plan (not mine).
  6. Favour is not what you qualify it is what God quantifies (I shall keep missing it waiting for it).
  7. What God predestines, he calls what he calls he justifies what he justifies he glorifies what he glorifies he elevates what he elevates he protects /keeps.
  8. No eye has seen and no ear has heard what the lord has in store for me (I am I willing to be that example that God uses).
