MILLY WAJESUS FACES BACKLASH FOR HIRING SH68,000 DRESS AND FAILING TO CREDIT DESIGNER

Content creator Milly WaJesus, found herself at the centre of a storm when it emerged that she had hired a Sh68,000 ($450) dress for her 30th birthday photo shoot and failed to credit the fashion designer and the stylist.

While celebrating her 30th birthday, Milly shared a photo rocking the dress but did not credit the fashion designer, “Hey Love, ready for your thriving thirty? I pray for you that the favour of God will follow you in an extraordinary way, I pray that you will be who God calls you. This year you will walk in your full potential in Jesus’ name. I love you so much @millywajesus Thriving Thirty it is. I have a few surprises lined up for you,” she captioned her photo.

According to the designer, Kate Mayeye of African Fabric and Designs Kenya, Milly hired the dress and promised to give mentions to the designer and the stylist but failed to do so, “Where is the tag for the designer and stylist? Tabia mbaya sana! NKT! She paid to hire and give mentions. If she paid for the outfit in full that is a different case. This outfit costs over $450.” African Fabric and Designs Kenya commented on Milly’s post.
