ACTOR ALLIWAH DAVID ON GIVING JALANG’O HIS FIRST JOB

Celebrated actor Alliwah David sat down with Buzz Central and opened up about mentoring Lang’ata MP Jalang’o.

Speaking to Cheptoek Boyo, Alliwah said Jalang’o was disciplined and always talked big, “He is a very philanthropic person, he has a good heart and very artistic person. When we met he was just from Homabay and he used to walk from Mwiki in Kasarani to our rehearsals space at Uhuru Park.

At one point I stayed with hin the slum where I used to live at Mugumoini. He was a very creative person and he would memories everyone’s lines. He was discipline and super hyped. He used to talk big and believed in himself, it’s good to have him as now my MP.”

Alliwah who received a Head of State Commendation (HSc) at last year’s Mashujaa day, also said it was an honour to be recognised for his work. “Right now I’m a shujaa, at my age I feel it is an honour being recognised to the work I have been doing especially in the arts industry. The prestige of it elevates my name from being called a mister.”
