CHRIS ADWAR, IDDI ACHIENG & BIRE THE VOCALIST RELEASE THEME SONG FOR THE AFRICA CLIMATE SUMMIT

In a harmonious fusion of talent, musicians Chris Adwar, Iddi Achieng, and Bire The Vocalist have come together to craft a powerful theme song for the Africa Climate Summit 2023 #ACS23.

Dubbed Africa Arise, the song was produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Adwar and the video directed by Vinto Neskon. “I feel incredibly privileged to have been part of Africa Arise, a theme song for the Africa Climate Summit 2023. It is more than an endeavour for me; it represents a deep commitment to our planet’s future as we come together as Africans to promote green growth and climate finance solutions. It fills me with humility and gratitude knowing that our voices will go beyond borders and generations as we strive to amplify the call for sustainability,” said Adwar.

The Africa Climate Summit is the largest gathering of African heads of state, ministers, UN agencies, humanitarian and development partners, the private sector and youth in the continent’s history with a shared objective: to promote green growth and climate finance solutions for Africa and the rest of the world. This will take place from September 4 to 6 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
