CITIZEN TV’S DJ GEE GEE AND JASMINE MUNGAI DIVORCE AFTER 8 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Content creator Jasmine Mungai popular known for her blog Cooking with Jaz has opened up about her divorce.

The mother of two took to social media to reveal she ended her 8-year marriage with Citizen TV’s DJ Gee Gee. “This is 33. A year ago my marriage of 8 years failed. I was looking for a house. I was heavily pregnant and I had no jobs….but God! Here I am a year later, thriving, healing, raising my babies, laughing and living. Psalm 126 y’all! God is faithful #therapyandJesus #Goddid.”

In a different post, Jasmine disclosed she doesn’t glorify separation or divorce, “One thing I will never do is glorify separation or divorce. Not all marriages fail. It breaks my heart when I read some of the stories you guys are sharing with me. Yet one thing I won’t do is feel guilty for finally being happy. 

After the grief, anger, lack, hurt and tears I have cried this past year. The times I have cried out to God wondering why it kept getting worse. Those who know my pain understand my joy. Those who know the battles I faced understand why I’m rejoicing now. So thankful that even scripture says that there is time for everything.”

DJ Gee Gee and Jasmine have two kids, a boy Uriah and a girl Zuri.
