‘I FASTED 30 DAYS FOR A HUSBAND’ SAYS FAITHLESS ACTRESS FATMA MOHAMMED

Faithless star Fatma Mohammed has revealed how she met her husband Suleyman. 

Speaking to Cheptoek Boyo on Buzz central, she said at the time she was feeling emotionally heavy and decided to fast. “We met during Covid-19 pandemic. I was going through something that was emotionally heavy. I call it a spiritual awakening, I used to wake up all the time at 3am and I would feel really empty. I didn’t know why I didn’t feel satisfied. I was in a low place, it was a few days to Ramadan. Which normally takes 30 days, I always love Ramadan because it awakens me spiritually.”

Fatma met him during her birthday, “For 30 days I prayed a lot and I used to pray in the middle of the night and at 2am. I prayed about my life. I was specific about what I wanted in my life in terms of health, financially, career and love life. On the 31st day was Eid which was also my birthday. That is the day I met my husband.”

The actress also gave reasons on how she knew he was her husband, “I didn’t obviously meet him and go, oh, you’re the one? We would talk about our lives and we had a lot in common in terms of our family. He’s a very calm spirit and I consider myself to be a fiery spirit. I realised that we complement each other in good ways. 

I remember feeling lost about my career and my financial situation. I would get cheques and I didn’t know where the money was going. It just so happened that he works in that field and advises many business owners on how to start a business on how to create financial legacy. I’m grateful because I have a best friend in my life.”
