CS ABABU NAMWAMBA AWARDS LEONARD MAMBO MBOTELA SH1 MILLION

CS Youth Affairs and Sports Ababu Namwamba has awarded veteran journalist Leonard Mambo Mbotela Sh1 million. 

Taking to his X account, Ababu said the award is for his contribution to the nation through broadcasting. “Legends are forever. What a special blessing to visit with and drink from the fountain of wisdom of this incredible national hero of all time, the ever-green, irrepressible colossus Leonard Mambo Mbotela, he of the peerless “Je, huu ni ungwana” fame. Support for Mbotela is a special salute to him and all our broadcasting greats who have left such an indelible mark on the rich tapestry of our nation. Live long Shujaa!” Wrote the CS.

The ministry also said apart from receiving the trophy, Leonard also got Sh1 million to cater for his medicare, “CS @AbabuNamwamba visits Legendary broadcaster Leonard Mambo Mbotela, checks on his health, and presents him with his Hongera Award. CS Ababu also made a 1 million shilling support to the legend to help with his Medicare in recognition for his contribution to the nation.”
