ACTOR DADDIE MARTO ON CONSIDERING VASECTOMY

Actor Daddie Marto and wife Koku Lwanga, have revealed they are considering family planning options to ensure they don’t have more children.

The mother of three disclosed that they are contemplating a vasectomy or tubal ligation, “None of my kids are planned. All my kids are oops babies but I’m really done this time. The petition I’d give God is that I have things I need to do. I still need to go back to school and build my brand. Marto has considered vasectomy, and I have considered tubal ligation, but we are still on the fence,” she said.

Koku recently narrated how she gave birth to their third born in the car while on her way to the hospital. According to Marto, he was at a shoot and he could not take his wife to hospital, “On May 12 2023, I woke up at 4am. I had a shoot and so I went to the office to get the equipment and at around 7am I got a call from my wife. She sent me photos and I started sweating at work.”

His wife started feeling contractions and shortly after her water broke, “I started feeling contractions and at 10am they were three to five minutes apart. Since my water had not broken, I thought we had some time. By 11am my water broke and I called Njeri to pick me up and we left. On our way I realised I had left my hospital documents so we had to go back.”

With heavy traffic on Thika Rd, Koku gave birth to their son in the car, “Just after Allsops the pain was so much I went on my fours. I removed my clothes and Njeri’s car was not tinted. I pulled the seat belt and pushed and the baby’s head was out. Then I pulled the baby, the cord was around his neck but it wasn’t tight. I placed him on my chest and had to cover him. I could not believe it. I was so proud. Because these are stories you hear and watch in the movies. I was able to stay calm and birthed my own baby.”
