‘I LOST VALUABLES WORTH SH200,000’ MUNGAI EVE TALKS ABOUT AIRBNB ROBBERY

Content creator Eve Mungai has shared a detailed account about a recent robbery incident that occurred in her house in Kilimani.

Taking to her YouTube channel, she said, “People thought they were robbed at our place but that was not the case. We were robbed in one of our apartments that we run as an Airbnb.”

On November 10, Mungai posted a video of individuals leaving her apartment with briefcases, “An agent I work with called me and said there is a client who wanted the place for a night. I always don’t accept guys for one night but since I knew the agent, I allowed them. That Wednesday night they came with the suitcases. Thursday morning I sent my cleaner, then I received a call from my agent asking what happened in the house. He sent me a video of the house and I was so shocked.” 

According Mungai, the guests stole valuables worth Sh200,000, “We came to see the house, it was a mess, they stole the carpet, curtains, decor and other valuables worth Sh200,000. We reported it to the police and we are hoping to get them.”
