SINGER AVRIL NYAMBURA BREAKS SILENCE ON DOMESTIC ABUSE

Celebrated singer and actress Avril Nyambura has left fans worried after sharing shocking photos online. 

In one of the photos, Avril is seen with a bandage covering her bloody bruised forehead. In the second picture, the singer has a black eye.

In a different post, Avril noted that sometimes it is hard for victims to speak out due to the taunting comments they received online. “Going through comments, and I’m in utter shock… this is why people never report this sh**, post this sh** cause y’all make people actually want to kill themselves after all they’ve been through… have a laugh, enjoy bye.” 

After photos of the musician went viral, Kenyans were left wondering what happened to the musician. “Alleged hope not clout: J Blessing beats up Avril, inflicting injury on her forehead as seen. Must anyone listen to J Blessing’s side of the story? #GBV,” said Maji Maji.
