EX-BBA CONTESTANT ANN MBARU APOLOGISES FOR SOCIAL MEDIA OUTBURSTS

Former Big Brother Africa contestant Annabel Mbaru popularly known as Ann Mbaru has opened up about a challenging period marked by mental delirium. 

In a candid admission, Mbaru offered an apology for her recent social media outbursts, “I temporarily went mentally delirious because I’ve just been admitted for Aspiration Pneumonia. Pneumonia makes one delirious, delusional and confused. My outbursts were a result of the cognitive state of one’s behavioural process of the bacteria it inflicts in the blood system.” 

According to Mbaru, if the condition is left untreated it can lead to death and mental health, “I woke up this morning gasping for air and extreme chest pains, severe spinal pain, neck pain and heavy breathing. If left untreated it can lead to death and mental health. My mind went popcorn. We live. I kindly advocate we stop vaping, smoking sheesha and drinking alcohol. What is unclean to the body will bring these kinds of issues. I’m going clean and healthy from today. Mungu mbele.”

In a past post, Annabel accused her boyfriend of domestic violence, “He kept hitting me. I did nothing but be a lover. I want my money back. A million and above. The GBV of Nairobi Hospital of Kilimani and the department of Domestic of Langata police Station are aware. #domesticviolencesurvivor” she wrote.

She added, “I packed everything in baggage packs and left him. He did not leave me, I left a Nacissistic so-called “gentleman” who was not only beating me but emotionally manipulating me @nhckenya your security refused me to leave with all my clothes. My EX partner strangled me almost to death. GBV will not be tolerated in Kenya.”
