ZARI HASSAN CLAPS BACK AT CRITICS AMID ACCUSATIONS OF FAKE LUXURY BAG
Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan was forced to defend her lifestyle after a social media user accused her of showing off a fake luxury handbag on social media.
On Monday, January 8, Zari shared a video where she is seen carrying the Louis Vuitton handbag while getting into her G-Wagon. “Success isn’t overnight. It’s when every day you get a little better than the day before. It all adds up–Dwayne Johnson.” She wrote.
However, things changed when a man alleged that her Louis Vuitton bag was not authentic. The mother of five took to her Instagram stories to fire back at the allegations. “Man f*%k it, what’s $2k, please stay in your broke lane and stop labelling peoples stuff fake. I’ll post receipts of my underwear too since y’all are too invested.” She posted a receipt revealing the bag cost her 35,500 rand (Sh284,000) when she purchased it in 2019 from a luxury brand shop in Sandton.
“I can afford to buy cars and property, and you’re telling me I can’t buy bags because some losers on the internet went saying oh Zari has fake stuff. Nah fam, okay I get it, I’m about to show you receipts of my underwear how about that? This bag has been moving for years. It goes everywhere like stay broke and shut up,” she concluded.
