CHEMUTAI GOIN BIDS FAREWELL TO CITIZEN TV

On her final day at Royal Media Services, employees surprised Chemutai Goin with a delightful cake and sang for her, marking the end of her tenure at the media house. 

The award-winning journalist was all smiles as she enjoyed her last moments in the newsroom surrounded by her colleagues. “Leaving for me is bitter sweet because this is where I had my wings and went to the eagles and that’s where I will stay. I’m glad I have really grown here. I never used to do Swahili and now I can,” she said.

A few days ago, Chemutai and her colleague, Crime reporter Hassan Mugambi, announced they were leaving Citizen TV, the two of them were headed for government jobs.
