‘WE ARE PAYING SH350,000’ AMBER RAY REVEALS HER MONTHLY RENT

Socialite Faith Makau popularly known as Amber Ray, and her husband Kennedy Rapudo have reunited, moving back in together after several months of living apart.

The two have rented a 5-bedroom house in Westlands where they pay Sh350, 000 rent per month. The socialite has been showcasing stunning photos and videos of the residence on her social media platforms. While confirming her monthly rent she wrote, “Weeeh sio 300k ni 350k please mbona mnatoa hiyo 50k.”

In October 2023, Rapudo admitted to assaulting his wife while drunk. In a series of posts on his Insta Stories, Rapudo said they have problems in their marriage, “There’s been so much activity concerning my marriage in the public domain these last couple of days. Like any other marriage, we’ve had our moments of ups and downs and ours isn’t perfect either. A lot has been said, but I have not been. I’ve not had the strength to address it.”

Rapudo went to confirm they have separated, “Yes, we’ve separated over an incident that happened while we were both drunk. On the night of the 13th this month. It’s an event that should have never happened. And I feel very sorry. And in deep regret that it happened mostly to the person that I sought to protect and love with all that I had. What caught me by surprise is the manner in which the ghostwriter chose his or her words. One single isolated incident doesn’t mean that I’m a violent person. I’ve never been and I’ll never be.”

He also vowed to fight for his family, “I’m raising two beautiful girls, I will never advocate for any domestic violence or gender based violence. I am man enough to admit when I’m on the wrong and this one particular incident, I was on the wrong, but it doesn’t change who I am. I will continue raising my children the best way I can and fight for my family of the media, to the mother of my beautiful daughter, I am deeply sorry, sincerely regret my action in the moment of weakness.”
