NICK ODHIAMBO CLEARS THE AIR ON EXPLICIT TEXTS A DAY AFTER HIS WEDDING

Hot 96 radio presenter Nick Odhiambo has addressed social media post of an old screenshot of a text conversation.

Odhiambo, who tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Annie Sumbeiywo over the weekend,  explained that the screenshot circulating on social media originated from an old group conversation and was intended as a joke. “Mumesema mwanaume hawezi kaa happily married for more than 24hrs? Who hurt you.. That trending pic is from 10 years ago. And a cropped screenshot. I was wondering why people are calling my No. and hanging up all day today,” he said.

This incident resurfaces from a few years back when a similar text conversation went viral. At that time, Odhiambo, then a presenter on Classic 105 FM, was falsely accused of catching his partner cheating based on the conversation in question.

Initially, the screenshot appeared damning, with Odhiambo’s reaction to a photo shared by someone named ‘Byron‘ suggesting infidelity. However, subsequent texts in the conversation clarified the misunderstanding. Odhiambo’s shock was soon replaced by clarification, as he stated that he didn’t recognise the woman in the picture, indicating it was all a joke. The woman also has no resemblance to his wife, further debunking the rumour.
