VICTOR PEACE TALKS ABOUT STRUGGLES OF DATING AFTER DIVORCE

Popular content creator Victor Peace has opened up about dating after divorce.

In a candid revelation, Victor disclosed he is struggling to date, “I got married really young, I was about 24. But getting out of marriage 7 years later, it was crazy coming back to the streets.”

Victor shared that people situationships more than relationships, “Back in the day, if you liked someone and they liked you back, all you needed to do was either invite them for lunch or ice cream. But now, there’s this thing called situationships, which stands between friends with benefits and a relationship. That’s wild for me.”

He was also surprised by the waiting game in dating, “The other thing that really shocked me was this whole waiting game of if you liked me, and then we go on a date or whatever and then when you text me I have to wait a couple of days before I respond to you just to show you I am not desperate.

If I liked I would text back immediately and that’s the mentality I came with to the streets but later on, I learnt that there is this whole waiting game. I honestly think that there should be a workshop for guys who are coming out of marriage, just to train them and have them transition smoothly.”

In May 2022, Victor and his ex-wife Cece Sagini announced their split. The couple, respectively, made the announcement in a social media post, “After 4+ years of walking this journey as the best of friends, with much prayer and consideration we have decided to come to the end of our road.

As we once shared our journey publicly, it is in the same spirit that we share this statement. Coming to this decision was tough but necessary for our general well-being and holistic happiness. There are no salacious events at the root of our decision. We still cherish our friendship and wish each other the very best.”
