I SPENT SH6 MILLION ON MONKEY BUSINESS SERIES-KING KAKA

Rapper Kennedy Ombima popularly known as King Kaka has revealed the amount of money he spent shooting his latest TV series Monkey Business.

Speaking during an interview, King Kaka said he spent over Sh6 million, “I started casting in December, then acting classes and shooting in January.  I have spent 6 million to shoot the 13 episodes.”

He also disclosed the reason why he casted rapper Scar Mkadinali as a lead character, “Scar has always been a friend and he is passionate about film, I took him to acting classes and he did it.”

He went on to add that 162 people have been part of the crew making the series. “The minimum on set was at least 40 people but there are some episodes where the number goes up to 162. This is my second film and I’m so happy.”
