‘WE ARE NOT AMISH’ BABA JIMMY TALKS ABOUT THEIR RELIGION 

Popular TikTok Kenyan content creators Baba Jimmy and his wife Judith have shut down rumours that they are Amish.

In a video on their social media page, the father of two revealed that they do not follow any religion. “I think many of you are looking at the head gear and decent clothing and say we are Amish or Mennonite. The Amish wouldn’t even have a phone, a car or electricity. We are not Amish or Mennonite. We are followers of Jesus Christ and we have no religion.”

Baba Jimmy further disclosed his wife wears decent dresses and head gears inline with the teaching of Jesus Christ, “We look at what the bible says and we follow it. Wearing decent clothes and wrapping our heads we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. 

The way my father brought the gospel to Kenya and started a church here, that’s the basis for the teachings. Those saying we are Amish do they think Amish are devil worshippers? They too are christians like us.”
