JEMIMAH THIONG’O’S HUSBAND PASSES AWAY

Popular gospel musician Jemimah Thiong’o is mourning the death of her husband Francis Thiong’o who passed away on July 21, 2024.

Francis had been in hospital for four months and before his death, the family was looking to raise Sh5 million through the Love Concert. “Its with deep sorrow that we announce the Passing on of Mr Francis Thiong’o, Loving husband to Gospel Minister Jemimah Thiong’o. He has gone to be with the Lord this morning after being hospitalised for close to 4 months now. 

The love charity concert was to help raise funds for his medication but The Lord has called him home. More Updates on Funeral arrangements to follow. Let’s all stand with Jemimah Thiong’o & Family during this difficult times.” Said Tonnin Okoth, Chairman Organizing committee for the Love Concert.

According to Thiong’o, her husband was taken to hospital for a small procedure but developed a complication. “It became a big issue because he developed complications. He has been in hospital for close to three months. We’ve had two fundraisers from family and friends which amounted to Sh2.7 Million and we have a deficit of Sh3 million. We are appealing to you to help clear the hospital bill.”
