‘I LOST A LOT OF FRIENDS’ ABISAI ON WINNING SH221 MILLION

Sh221 million jackpot winner Samuel Abisai, has opened up about challenges he faced after winning the millions.

Speaking in an interview on POV podcast, Abisai shared how he lost his childhood friends. “In my life I have lost a lot of childhood friends because they know I won the money and they expected me to change their lives, yet they don’t know I have my own plans. I can only help a person to a certain point.”

He also revealed that over 50 people would camp in their home expecting him to help, “After I won Sh221 million, I realised the money is not a lot. Guys used to come and camp at my parents home until I sorted them. I come from Luhya land and to them I won the money for the community. If I don’t give my relatives money they would say I have changed so it was tough. Winning such money comes with a lot of responsibility.”
