NATALIE TEWA SHARES REASONS BEHIND CALLING OFF ENGAGEMENT TO FRANCIS MUGANE

Social media influencer Natalie Tewa has opened up about the end of her engagement to her fiancé, Francis Mugane.

Reflecting on the decision, Natalie shared, “I have been engaged only once, and that ended because things were not working out. I’ve always believed it’s better to end an engagement than a marriage. I didn’t want to look back years later and wonder why. I’m so glad my error for loving the bad boys is over, nimezipitia.” 

The couple, who had unfollowed each other on social media in December 2023, had initially announced their engagement just months earlier in February 2023. Days before Valentine’s Day, Tewa revealed the news through a series of photos and a heartfelt caption on Instagram.

“In the spirit of love, I’ve got some news…. I said yes. I was completely surprised! He kept this hidden from me so well. @mbugua, VVS diamonds look amazing on me, and you know my style perfectly. I love it. May God bless our union,” she wrote at the time.

Mugane, who is based in Amsterdam, serves as the Director of Strategy & Operations-Payments at Booking.com.
