AMERICAN SINGER LAURYN HILL TO HEADLINE WALKER TOWN 

Eight-time Grammy Award-winning music icon, Lauryn Hill, will headline this year’s Walker Town Day Two, taking place at Laureate Gardens, Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, on September 28th and 29th. Kenya’s very own hip-hop sensation, Nyashinski will also be performing.

This appearance will be Hill’s first major performance in Kenya since 2019 when she headlined a concert in Kenya as part of her world tour of her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

This first ever two-day celebration will not only bring together iconic performances but also offer a rich cultural experience through art and fashion for both music and whisky enthusiasts.” 

Lauryn is celebrated for her pivotal role as a pioneering member of The Fugees, is globally recognised for her trailblazing contributions to hip-hop, R&B, and soul. The Fugees’ ground-breaking 1996 album, The Score, redefined hip-hop, while Ms. Hill’s solo masterpiece The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill cemented her legacy as one of the most influential and enduring artists of her generation.
